Blakeney is very dog friendly

North Norfolk and Blakeney in particular is very dog friendly

This picture is of Toby our Weimaraner when he was a puppy, digging at Overstrand beach. There really is no need to leave your pets at home when you come on holiday to North Norfolk, as the whole area is very dog-friendly.

There are lots of wonderful dog walks in Blakeney itself and masses of beaches & pubs where dogs are welcome in North Norfolk.

One of our favourites walks with the dogs is the walk from Wells next to the sea to Holkham beach, and then up to the Victoria pub at Holkham where they always make the dogs feel welcome. Another one we love to do with the dogs is to park at Overstrand on the cliff top car park and walk to Cromer along the beach for breakfast in the morning or fish and chips if its lunch or evening. You can then walk back along the cliff tops, or vice versa depending on the tides.

Gardeners cottage in Blakeney is very dog friendly & welcomes well behaved dogs

As dog owners ourselves we thought it was important to make Gardeners cottage as dog friendly as possible, without compromising on style or luxury, and so all the floors are either tiled or wooden floors with rugs making it easier to clean. The furniture has throws on and the cottage garden is enclosed.
