The
Medieval town of Little Walsingham, often referred to as "England's
Nazareth" has been a place of pilgrimage since Saxon times and is famous
for its Shrine of Our Lady and its ruined priory.
In
the heart of north Norfolk, Little Walsingham has to date largely avoided the
commercial 20th century. It's tourism remains predominantly religious. It's
unspoilt ancient, sleepy feel, now one of it's greatest charms to those not
drawn to the shrines.

Little Walsingham Priory grounds are open
to the public, with spectacular snow drop and bluebell woodland walks. Access
from the market square, entrance £3.50 adults, family concessions and annual
passes available.
