Sheringham

Sheringham

Sheringham is a traditional seaside town in England on North Norfolk Coast

Sheringham is about a 15-20 minute drive along the North Norfolk coast from Blakeney. This pretty seaside town offers visitors an authentic traditional English seaside experience, and does so all year round. Buckets and spades, tea rooms, ice cream parlours, charity shops, penny arcades, cinema, amusements, fish and chips, but increasingly a growing choice of cafes, restuarants, coffee shops, art galleries and gift shops make it a destination opportunity to "shop and eat" if the weather isn't warm enough for a full day on the beach.

Sheringhams bustling high street lead all the way from the poppy line railway station and market car park, down to the sea. A traditional mix of seaside town and tourist shopping offers something for everyone all year round. We love Sheringham, particularly the fish and chips and the ice cream parlours as well as the lovely family friendly beach. It was our go to beach when the children were very young.

Blythe & Wright

Now we couldnt do a page about Sheringham without mentioning Blythe And Wrights. Possibly the best traditional hardware shop in the East of England, if not the whole UK ! Sheringham high street is the place to find the wonderful Blythe and Wright. You are guaranteed to find something you did'nt know you needed, but cant live without, and if you cant find it, just ask. They are very helpful! Its like taking a trip back in time to the 1950's when all stores where like this. We love shopping there. Norfolk shopping at it's best. Long may it continue.
