We arrived at The Dun Cow in Salthouse on a grey, wet January afternoon and were instantly welcomed by the warmth of a roaring log fire and friendly staff. Despite arriving around 3pm, we were delighted to find they serve food all day — perfect as we were absolutely ravenous. With delicious, comforting food and a cosy, dog-friendly atmosphere, it was exactly the winter refuge we’d hoped for on the North Norfolk coast.
